• - Looks to be the highest quality among the three (don't quote me). I can't differentiate 100% cotton, premium cotton. I like Superdry tee material and cotton spandex underwear though... -AHEM- but I digress...

• - The adult size comes in black. I took 2 other colours as I want some variety. The beige and maroon ones are labelled with Small. Unless you have kids in your household, or you are of small build, i.e. you can still wear kid sized clothes.
  

   

  DO NOT take the coloured ones. I opened the beige and maroon and an auntie told me adults cannot wear as it is too small. They won't allow us to exchange once the seal is opened. I tried the black mask on, as well as beige and maroon. True enough, the coloured ones are tighter and hurts my ears. It also arches upwards when laid flat unlike the black ones.

36. What makes a poor quality wool beret?

Berets from Europe are hands down the best. Why? Our high quality European berets have long staple wool fibers that stay in place and do not pill. They look great for a long long time.

Berets look very similar to one another when you buy them, but 6 months later a poor quality short staple (short fiber length) wool beret will be covered with little bits of fiber called "pills" making them look old, dirty and cheap.

Why pay more for a poor quality short staple wool beret when you can have the very best at a great price. If you're not sure the other berets you find are European, they're probably not.

Berets like this have been made famous by the likes of Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, Monica Lewinski, Che Guevara, Faye Dunaway, et al.

Berets come in the option of 11 1/2 inch diameter or 10 1/2 inches. Made in Europe in the Czech Republic. Makes a great gift if you don't know the persons hat size!!

Find your hat size

Measuring your head

You will need a tape measure and a mirror. Optional: Skip the mirror and use a friend.

Place the tape measure around your head where the hat’s inner band will sit. Let the ends meet on your forehead. Make sure the tape measure is not too tight.

Read the circumference from the tape measure, and use the chart further down to pick a size!

Remember different hats sit differently on your head. You may even prefer to tilt your hat in a certain way. Measure so that your tape measure sits where the hat’s inner band will sit. Hats usually sit most comfortably about 1 cm above the ears.

If your head circumference is in the lower end of a size interval, a pair of hat sizers will ensure a snug fit.

Tips

• If you have no tape measure, you can use a piece of string and a ruler.
• If you have a hat that fits you well, you can measure the inner band (sweatband) of the hat, where the crown and the brim meet.
